Bridgewater Community Day, Touch-A-Truck Is Sunday | Bridgewater, NJ Patch

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Annual Bridgewater Community Day Featuring Touch-a-Truck is returning on Sunday.

The free family-friendly event features inflatables, game truck (wristband required), music, crafts and a variety of trucks and vehicles for children to explore, including emergency vehicles and construction trucks.

Kids’ activities include face painting, arts & crafts, and kids’ tattoos. Food will be available for purchase from Food Trucks.

Presented by the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) Bridgewater in partnership with Bridgewater Township and Bridgewater Commons, the event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outdoors at Bridgewater Commons (Commons Way, Bridgewater). It will take place rain or shine.

"The Township looks forward to being a part of Community Day each year, and it is gratifying to see the day enjoyed by so many of our residents. We are pleased to continue to partner with the JCC and Bridgewater Commons and to seeing Bridgewater Community Day grow each year," said Bridgewater Township Mayor Matthew Moench.

Proceeds from Bridgewater Community Day benefit JCC Special Needs Programs and Services for children and adults. The co-Title Sponsors of Bridgewater Community Day are Atlantic Health and Hunterdon Health.

"More than 2,000 people attended Community Day in 2021, and we look forward to seeing our community coming together in 2022 for this enjoyable event! Bridgewater Community Day exemplifies the true meaning of 'community'," stated Laura Friedman, JCC Executive Director. "In addition, we are so grateful for the sponsorship support the JCC receives from the business community, enabling us to carry out our mission to help those in our local community who rely on this JCC for the crucial and extensive programming we offer."
